A budapesti Roosevelt tér (ma Széchenyi István tér) madártávlatból 2005-ben

A Védegylet mozgalom szervezett tüntetést a budapesti Roosevelt térre, hogy tiltakozzanak a tér átépítésével és mélygarázs kiépítésével veszélyeztetett fák megmaradásáért. A szervezet szerint erőteljesebb tiltakozásra volna szükség a városi zöldterületek megvédése érdekében. A tüntetésen körülbelül 100-150 ember vett részt. A szervezet továbbá kezdeményezte egy jövő nemzedékek országgyűlési biztosának kinevezését a törvényhozásban.
