Civil szervezetek nyílt levélben tiltakoznak a felsőoktatási törvény ellen

A Semmelweis Egyetem egy előadóterme 1980-ban

Nyílt levélben kérte a parlamenti képviselőket az Egyesület a Felsőoktatásért és Kutatásért, a Baloldali Értelmiségiek Tanácsa, a Professzorok Batthyány Köre és a Védegylet, hogy ne támogassák a felsőoktatási törvénytervezetet. A szervezetek szerint a törvényjavaslat több ponton ellentmondásos és értelmezhetetlen, továbbá alkotmányellenes, mert fel akarja számolni az egyetemek autonómiáját. Ezért egy új tervezet megalkotását követelték.
